PhD Thesis Call for Participants

The purpose of my PhD research is to study digital narratives in art museums’ online resources such as online publications, exhibitions, exhibitions websites, and other interactive features. Determining the added value of digital technologies to reconfigure how art history is being narrated by art museums, is my main aim.

My methodology combines narratology with the perspectives of art museum professionals involved in the development of online resources, as well as the ones of art historians as users of those resources.

Currently, I am interviewing art historians from all career stages, familiar or not with technologies to complete my research. Participation is voluntary and confidential. The interview consists of a “thinking aloud protocol” session while browsing 2 websites and 5-6 questions. Ideally, the interview should not be longer than 30-35 minutes.

If you are willing to participate or have any questions, please contact me at and provide availability until December 2016 (included), contact details, and preferred means of communication for the interview, Skype or Google Hangouts.
